School Improvement Plans
Each of the five schools in the Petal School District developed School Improvement Plans as a guide for increasing student achievement for the 2008-2009 school year. The plans are based on the school improvement cycle of Plan, Do, Study, Act. The PDSA model provides a means to:
· identify opportunities for improvement and plan accordingly
· implement the plan and try out the improvement strategies
· study the results and determine changes that need to be made
· document data to review/support improvement and plan for
continuous improvement
