The goal of the Petal School District’s Child Nutrition Program is to provide students, teachers and staff nutritious meals at a reasonable price and to provide unparalleled service to the students and patrons.
Any student whose family qualifies according to the criteria as set forth by the national program may be eligible for free or reduced meals. The Petal School District utilizes the Family Free and Reduced Meal Applications which means only one (1) application per family regardless of which school your child attends – must be completed each year.
The 2012-2013 Free and Reduced Meal Applications may be picked up at each school or at the Child Nutrition Office located at 613 South Main Street, Petal (across from Petal Harvey Baptist Church). Forms should be available by July 31, 2012.
Free and Reduced Meal Applications may also be completed on-line. Check the Petal School District's main web page for more information.
