Attention - DRILL
We will be conducting an evacuation drill for PHS and PES this morning.
On January 21, 2017, a devastating EF3 tornado hit Petal, MS causing extensive damage to homes, businesses, and schools. The Petal School District has been contacted by individuals, schools, businesses and organizations across the state and country to offer assistance. In an effort to meet the individual needs of students and staff who suffered property losses from the tornado, the Petal Education Foundation is accepting monetary donations for the student/staff assistance fund.
Because the tornado affected each family in different ways, the best way to assist is by purchasing items specific for each student. Some need clothes. Others need food. Each family has their own individual needs. By accepting monetary donations we will be able to meet those individual needs.
We have established a “Go Fund Me” account in order to accept online donations. Please visit https://www.gofundme.com/petal-studentstaff-tornado-relief. You can also send a check to the Petal Education Foundation with a designation to the Student/Staff Assistance Fund.
